The E-Metrics Instructional System (EMIS) was designed by the Institute to provide
library administrators, practitioners, and researchers with a better
understanding of the roles and uses of e-metrics. In the context of
libraries, e-metrics serve as a means by which to measure the use of electronic
services and resources. The EMIS materials and modules provide assistance and
continuing education for those seeking to use e-metrics in their library.
