The project was funded by the American Library Association, Washington Office. This study updated tables in Public Library Internet Services: Impacts on the Digital Divide (report available on Institute Website), provided a longitudinal perspective on the E–Rate awards by incorporating the existing data into the new tables through the 2002 E–Rate funding year, and provided a written explanation of the new tables with overall conclusions and recommendations.
