In carrying over a tradition from the paper-based publishing world to this e-world effort, we dedicate EMIS in tribute to the work of Dr. Mary Jo Lynch.
Mary Jo, who most recently directed the American Library Association, Office for Research and Statistics, has spent years in the trenches advocating for library decision making based on data and evidence. Thus, EMIS is one of her progeny. Mary Jo remains an inspiration to us all!
