McClure Speaks at the Louisiana Library Association Annual Conference

Charles R. McClure, Director of the Information Institute, was the featured speaker at a pre-conference workshop on Public Libraries and Hurricane Preparedness and Response. During the presentation McClure highlighted the recently updated and expanded Information Institute website: Hurricane Preparedness and Response for Florida Public Libraries. Although the website is intended primarily for Florida public librarians, McClure noted that probably 75% of the website's content is applicable to all states that have to deal with hurricanes. Workshop participants were very interested in using the website and offered a number of suggestions for additional content and information.
